Grilled Tofu with Miso Ketchup Sauce


ingredients: 4 Firm Tofu / 4 tbsp Miso Paste / 4 tbsp Soy Sauce / 4 tbsp Tomato Ketchup / 4 tbsp Mirin Cooking Sweet Wine

1) Boil Tofu in slightly salted boiling water for 3mins.

2) Wrap tofu with peper towel and put the weight on top of tofu,
then leave 20mins to remove the moisture.

3) Preheat oven at 180 degree celcius.

4) Slice tofu to 5mm thickness, put them on paper towel.

5) To make sauce, combine miso paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup and
mirin cooking sweet sake in a small bowl.

6) Spread sauce on tofu, bake for 5mins in the oven.

7) Turn them over, spread sauce the other surface of tofu, then cook for 3-4mins in the oven.
