The history of this Saikyo miso started 200 years ago when it was presented to the Imperial Court in Kyoto. The quality is guaranteed by receiving a few Japanese miso awards since then. This miso uses Japanese rice & GMO Free soybeans for the ingredients, and it is a perfect seasoning for various cooking.
