Fukuya's home-use cod roe is made from which is called ‘kiriko’. Kiriko is  irregularly shaped or have slightly cut edges.

The skin of the kiriko cod roe is torn, which makes it easier for the seasoning liquid to soak through.
For this reason, the taste is adjusted to suit Kiriko, using a special blended pickling sauce and pickling method that is tailored to the Kiriko, therefore provides it a delicious taste.

It is delicious on rice as it is, and can also be used in other dishes such as cod roe pasta.
It can also be used in other dishes as well.

ふくやの家庭用明太子は、形が不揃いなものや、端が少し切れている
「切れ子」と呼ばれるものを使用しています。

切れ子は皮が破れており、調味液がしみこみやすくなっています。
そのため、切れ子に合わせた漬けだれ、漬け込み方法で味を調整しており、美味しくお召し上がりいただけます。

そのままご飯の上にのせても美味しく、明太子パスタなどその他の料理に
