We prepare 'atarime' by seasoning dried squid with our unique marinade and grilling it to enhance its flavour. As you chew, you'll experience the concentrated umami of the squid spreading in your mouth. We use fish sauce to bring out the savoury essence of the squid.
After grilling the squid for ease of consumption, we stretch it into rolls. It makes for a perfect snack to accompany alcoholic drinks such as Japanese sake.
