``La France'', known as the ``Queen of Fruits,'' is said to be the best pear for its unique aroma and mellow flesh.

Pre-cooling and ripening after harvesting gives it a noble aroma and elegant taste.

Currently, it accounts for approximately 80% of the national production and has become synonymous with Yamagata fruits.
